R.I.P. Alex Chilton. A legend. I consider myself so fortunate that I got to see him open for the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion with my cousin back in 1998. And he was ON.

Paul Westerberg said it best: “Children by the million sing for Alex Chilton when he comes ‘round / They sing: ‘I’m in love. What’s that song? / I’m in love with that song.’”
